On the Cover - Meet Chelsea

By Chelsea, age 15, Florida

Well, first off, I'm Chelsea, age fifteen, living in Florida. I have a younger brother and two older sisters. I am also an auntie of two baby girls. I love my family, even though we are not that close and fight a lot (then again, what family doesn't anymore?)

I love my high school, my friends, and of course, guys :) I have three best friends who absolutely complete me - Caitlin, Todd, and Mike. I can talk to them about anything, and that's what I think makes a true friend. I spend a lot of my time with my friends, and also volunteering at a club where my parents are members. I do not have a boyfriend, yet I don't think a girl really needs one to complete her life.

I chose to apply to model for Sweet Designs simply because I loved reading the articles. The site has so much to offer, so I thought I should contribute to it as well. I love modeling for Sweet Designs!

I've dealt with a lot in my life so far, and it's making me a better person. I'm very independent and like to do things for myself instead of forcing others to do things for me. I do not believe in any gods, yet I don't shun people who do. You have a right to what you believe in, and I respect everyone for having faith in religion. I try to find beauty in everything. I'm in love with peace, love, and happiness signs.

I love indie, rock, acoustic, and any other type of meaningful music. My favorite movies would have to be Charlie Bartlet, The Longest Yard, and Band Camp.

Even though I'm only a freshman in high school, I have huge plans for the future. I plan to graduate high school with my associate's degree, then move forth into a university as a junior. I want to become a web designer / IT specialist. After college I plan to live my life as it comes, day by day. I love surprises :).
