Ready, Set, Spring!!

By Carolyn, age 16, Dominican Republic

As we know, summer is coming little by little, and the stores are filling up with great spring and summer wear. This is my favorite time of the year mostly because you get to wear anything that comes to mind from shorts to dresses, sleeveless and stringless. Bright colors and hot pendants come to life when we talk about spring, so let's start off with everyday clothing - shirts, jeans, and shorts.

For you US girls, no winter coat means great outfits, so here are a few ideas you can work with:

T's Are Essential

Lucky for us we can wear t-shirts with anything and match them with anything. You can find these at Wet Seal, Forever21, Papaya Clothing, and other places, but hey, you don't need these exact same shirts to look hot. There are millions of nearby stores that have very similar and cheaper great tees.

Wet Seal

Tees shown range from $12.50 to $17.50
Available at www.wetseal.com or your local store.

Papaya Clothing

Tees shown range from $9.99 to $10.99
Available at www.papayaclothing.com or your local store.

Classy 'n' Dressy

Now we don't always want to wear sporty tees and tanks. Sometimes for special occasions we like to dress nice. Here are some cute blouses and dressy shirts you can try.

Wet Seal

Tops shown range from $16.50 to $17.50
Available at www.wetseal.com or your local store.

Papaya Clothing

Dresses shown range from $18.71 to $18.99
Available at www.papayaclothing.com or your local store.

A Girl's Best Friend

Jeans never go out of style, and they're available in every single style you can imagine - skinny, high waist, low waist, big belt, - any way you like it. Here are some you can match with the above.

Wet Seal

Jeans shown range from $24.50 to $29.50
Available at www.wetseal.com or your local store.

On a summer or spring day we all know shorts 'n' skirts are our best friends. They're easy to match with anything.

Wet Seal

Shorts shown range from $16.50 to $22.50
Available at www.wetseal.com or your local store.

Papaya Clothing

Shorts and Skirts shown range from $14.99 to $17.99
Available at www.papayaclothing.com or your local store.

Jewelry Makes It Hott

We all know that without accessories there's no 'H' in Hott. Here are some current trends to inspire you.

Wet Seal

Jewelry shown ranges from $4.00 to $8.00
Available at www.wetseal.com or your local store.

Papaya Clothing

Jewelry shown ranges from $3.99 to $6.99
Available at www.papayaclothing.com or your local store.

So are you ready for spring, girls? I hope I've helped you a little with some ideas. Remember, there are millions of stores out there where you can get some awesomely cheap clothes, and maybe even prettier than the ones in the expensive stores. So don't be afraid to mix 'n' match, mix it up, and roll around with some hot trends.

Remember, if you feel good, it looks good. I can assure you - that's what makes us teens unique! Thank you so much for letting me have some of your time. Again, I hope I've helped. Any questions or comments? Feel free to contact me using the form below. I'm always here to help trend you up!
