Prima Style

By Carolyn, age 16, Dominican Republic

Seems like everyone is coming up with their own little line of clothing. Some do it through already big companies and some start their own. Examples include Beyonce, with dereon.com, and Lauren Conrad (laurenconrad.seenon.com). One way or another they make it happen.

This time Prima J (cousins Janelle and Jessica Martinez) are representing some clothing for Wet Seal. The line is very teen, very colorful, and they hope we all like it. It kinda shows us what they like to wear and also how you don't have to have a lot of money to go shopping and get something a celebrity would wear. They also have a sweepstakes. You can win a BBQ party with Prima J, a Chilosa makeover*, and appear in a magazine photo shoot with them. Sounds cool, huh?? Learn more about this contest!

Also, if you're a fan, their new album is out, and it's on sale at Wet Seal. Also, their latest video Corazon (Heart) is out, and it's very hot. I loved it. It has a nice message for you and your besties out there - take care of each other. Go check it out. It's very nice, but back to their clothing. Here are some mixes they made to look Prima stylish:

* Editor's note: Chilosa (pronounced Chee-low-sah) is a word coined by the Prima J cousins, meaning: "A sassy, hot and feisty girl who's independent with a little spice. She's the fun and fearless girl next door, with lots of spirit, who has a deep inner self-confidence. She knows who she is inside and doesn't have to put up false fronts to be something that she's not." Your editor knows all about Chilosa - she's just that cool ... Uh, actually, I had to look it up. :D
