Get Healthy Back-to-School Skin

By Carolyn, age 17, Dominican Republic

You're ready for the first day of school. But is your skin ready?

Well, I think summer went by awfully fast, and the only thing I'm hyper about is the first day of class. I'm dying to know ... Are there a lot of new people? I don't know about you guys, but I'm really curious (lol). Oh, and I'm kind of a perfectionist, and I'm terrified of how I'm going to look. I don't want pimples or a sweaty face, or a tired, annoyed looking face either.

I wish I had my own fairy. I'd ask her to make everything good. But all I have is my computer and Google search, which I'm not afraid to use, so I thought I should go shopping for my cleansers, moisturizer, and acne treatments. And that's exactly what I did! Check out what I found - the best of lifesavers!!

Clean and Clear Morning Burst - Normal Skin

First day of school, and you're already feeling grumpy and tired and missing those vacation days ... Wanna stay in bed? Well, you might want to think twice since you have to get up anyway. Clean and Clear helps you make it there with their Morning Burst collection.

So you're feeling all tired as you go to your bathroom. Try this out. First, you can use either the facial scrub or facial cleanser. Either works great. They wake you up full of energy, and leave your skin feeling clean and energized, ready for your whole day of drama and work. Finish with the moisturizer for the all-day protection you're really gonna need.

Clean and Clear Morning Burst - Shine Control

Now, the one thing we do know is that all skin types aren't the same. Some of us have oily, sweaty skin, and we don't want to present ourselves to new students with a sweaty face. So Clean and Clear has developed a Morning Burst for shiny faces ... when we don't want them to be so shiny! Since the sun doesn't help a lot, and all the running in halls and chatting at lunch is kind of tiring, Morning Burst Shine Control offers a 4 step plan, with a scrub, cleanser, moisturizer, and oil absorbing sheets. The oil absorbing sheets are easy to carry in your purse, and just right to take to the girl's room and do a little touch up before your next class.

All Stressed Out?!

For those stressing over the first months of school, when teachers just love piling on homework, assignments, and quizzes, I think I know what we need. Neutrogena has a great new line of Oil Free Acne Stress Control products because we all know that where there's stress, there's acne, and breakouts we don't want! The kit has 3 products. You can also buy them separately, but I recommend the three product kit because basically everything you need is put together for you.

First, the Acne Stress Control Power-Clear Scrub helps clear away that dirty face. Second, the Acne Stress Control Power-Foam Wash is so advanced it treats acne even before it emerges. And last but not least, the 3-in-1 Acne Stress Control Hydrating Acne Treatment works in 3 great ways - it treats acne even before it emerges, hydrates and softens skin, and reduces redness and irritation. What's more, every product in this line won Allure Magazine's 2007 Editor's Choice Award for Best Acne Treatment. What else do we need to fight those breakouts? So put on your gloves, girls, and start fighting zits!!

Oh-M-Gee, a Zit!!

Wow! A zit on the night before your first day of class!! Stressing, right?

No worries. Neutrogena is here to help. Their On-the-Spot acne treatment is developed to help those zits go away in hours for your big day. Thanks to them we don't have to worry about putting on a whole pile of foundation, making you look gothic just to cover one itty bitty zit.

So you think you're ready now? Let me remind you that you can get these and other very effective products at your nearest drugstore or retailer, so get ready for your day!

Always here to help,
Carol
