Chapter 1, addendum

Luciana walked the halls of the Onishi Green Plaza hotel placed in the countryside of Japan. She was alone as the midnight moon illuminated the dark halls. All of a sudden a soft melody could be heard from the far end of the hallway. Luciana was fear stricken and stood still, and a small doll-like figure appeared holding a music box. The grayish doll figure was turning the crank for the box which produced the eerie lullaby. Luciana continued to stay still, dumbfounded, and shocked. The doll just walked by and disappeared into the elevator.

"Eh?" Luciana blinked in surprise, then slowly walked down the stairs into the lobby. She sighed in relief, finding it full of busy customers.

"Luciana!" Lia shouted from the elevator.

"Hm?" Luciana saw her walk out of the elevator with someone behind her in a mask. She appeared to be about 15. It was Jigoku, of course, yet they had never met. Jigoku casually walked across the lobby and up the stairs without a word. Luciana was a little freaked out about all of this, but then sighed.

"Luciana, it's time to go to bed." Lia brought her back into the elevator and took her to the fifth floor. She walked the lonely hall again and heard the eerie lullaby once more. The doll-like figure stood in front of her doorway playing her music box. Then came some girl pointing at the door saying that she could see schoolgirls, but neither Luciana or the doll-like figure could see them. Then another girl came running into the hallway asking if they had seen some palm tree.
