Time for Fall!

Yes, I know it seems way too early to be talking about fall already, but it sure has crept up on us, just like school! So, that's why I'm going to guide you through the very beginning of the leafy season.

Something you always have to keep in mind when it starts to get chilly is this: Just because the leaves are falling (or snow, for that matter), it doesn't mean you have to let your style fall with them. Remember that you don't have to start dressing down more, and eventually getting sloppy with your style, just because it's cold outside. I know it does seem harder to try and 'dress up' in the fall or winter, but there are still ways to do it.

To start off the lovely autumn season, you need a good comfy jacket, one you can wear with anything at any time, outside, where it's getting pretty cold, or even inside school, where it's a little chilly. You can also invest in a cute cardigan that can be used for the same reason, but maybe less for warmth and more for style.

Another must-have for fall would definitely be some cool, new boyfriend jeans. The great thing about them is that they're loose fitting, but adorable, plus they are super comfy, but still in style. Anyone can look good wearing boyfriends, also called 'pegged jeans'. You can even turn a pair of regular jeans into boyfriends. All you have to do is buy a size bigger than what you normally wear, and cuff them a few times at the bottom. Throw on some flats or flip-flops, and you're ready to go!

A great thing to start out school and fall with is a new purse. New school year, new season, new you! Plus, you have to accentuate your cute new cardigan! So, what better way than to have a new purse dangling off your arm?!

The 'in' purse style for right now is the slouchy, hobo bag. Out with the old structured, handled bags, and in with these awesome new ones! Go for more of an earthy tone to level out your outfit. (The brighter the better!) Even a fringe on it will look totally cool with your 'boyfriends!

One more vital purchase for this season are some Henleys. You can get a short sleeved one, a three-quarter, or even a long sleeved one for every temperature. You can dress one up on the chillier days with some jewelry and heels, or dress it down on a more summery day with some flip flops and shorts. Henleys are great for layering in the fall, when you want to have enough layers on for when it's cold in the morning and warmer in the afternoon. Throw a hoodie over your Henley and put an undershirt underneath, and you're ready and set. They come in tons of different colors and patterns, and are on MEGA-sale at Aeropostale, so stop by there and pick up a few!

Henleys shown are available for $15.00 at www.aeropostale.com or your local store.

So everyone, make sure you remember Fall's Golden Rule*, and you should still stay cozy and warm, while looking cute and casual too!

* If you've forgotten already, it's in paragraph 2 :)
