Winter Fashion Report: Colored Skinnies

By Samantha, age 13, Indiana

With winter coming, you'll need cute pants to keep you warm. Why not have stylish colored skinny pants? They come in a variety of colors, fabrics, and styles. Many stores carry them, so you can go to your favorite! You might be thinking they don't match! But they do. You can dress them up with a blouse, or down with Converse. Whichever way you choose, you'll look fabulous!

Jeans available for $32.50 at www.pacsun.com or your local store.

In this picture, the jeans are more dressed down. With pinks and purples, I suggest wearing black and white with gold accessories.

In this picture, I dressed the jeans up. I'm wearing black flats, a black shirt, and gold accessories, as mentioned above. Dressing jeans up or down is very easy, and you can do it with your own style.

Jeans available for $24.90 at www.forever21.com or your local store.

With these jeans, they are more dressed down. Vans or Converse work very well to dress jeans down, as do graphic tees. With red jeans, black goes very well. For green, white works great. Neutral colors are best with colored jeans.

Jeans available for $16.08 at www.target.com or your local store.

Again, those are more dressed up. Black heels go great with purple skinny jeans. Also, mini dresses and tunics look great.

Now that we've gone through dressing up, dressing down, and my personal outfit, you have the 101 on colored skinny jeans. Go find your perfect pair, and rock them!!
