It's Complicated

It's Complicated is a funny romantic dramedy with a lot of heart that is sure to leave you happy. Actress Meryl Streep really gets into her character as she deals with the difficulties of divorce. In fact, I feel that Meryl Streep gets into her character so well that it allows you to not be thinking about her previous roles.

Even though It's Complicated may appear to be geared towards older women, this is not true. It makes you think of your parents, or maybe even yourself in the future. If your parents aren't divorced, I'm sure you can relate the situation to other real life situations.

However, the best part of this movie is the comedy between actors Steve Martin, Alec Baldwin, and Meryl Streep. Some of the jokes are so funny you will find the audience laughing for ten minutes straight.

My favorite scene in It's Complicated comes towards the end, when the two divorcees' children are watching them interact, and are confused as to why they are getting along so well. I like this scene because it gives people hope that maybe one day their parents or divorced people they know will get back together.

The ending could not be more perfect. Director Nancy Meyers did a fabulous job with this film. I hope there is a sequel!

It's Complicated gets a total of 4 out of 5 stars.
