Life does not always permit us to intentionally make the smartest decisions. Stupidity is a side dish to humanity. Although not always ordered, like a hot dog with french fries as the only option, we sigh and accept the fact we had no power in making this choice ourselves. If you're favored by your belief in a higher power, then chances are whatever dimwitted and/or rage driven decision that was made is overseen in hopes of repentance. You can blame any series of unfortunate circumstances, if you'd like. However, the average cranium will immediately point at your ignorance like a fat nine year old attempting to fit into a baby swing. It's obvious, dummy. You're the one to blame.
Now, if you're karma's b****, or you tend to get the tail side up of the penny, you sulk. You sulk like the fat nine year old who attempted, but failed at fitting into the baby swing. Gracias for the sympathy? I think not. Sympathy is an emotion portrayed by one person towards another person who, very possibly, subconsciously asks for it. It aids no one. It's obvious, chubby. You're getting nowhere with sadness.
Dr. Katie, are you saying that everything is my fault, and I can't be sad and must simply get over things and not complain?
No, dummy. When there's nothing left to burn, you have to set yourself on fire.
