Beautiful

Beautiful (adj.) - Something that expresses true happiness and confidence.

Girls, we are all beautiful. Never let anyone make you believe otherwise. The world we live in is influenced by models and Megan Fox, but at some point you have to realize that those girls aren't really a reflection of the true beauty out there. In some cultures, beauty is defined by just being happy with who you are. Confidence in yourself makes you beautiful.

In my heritage, we believe that if you are different than everyone else you are an outcast. In my case, everyone on both my mom's and dad's sides has blonde hair and blue eyes, and I am completely different - I have auburn hair and green eyes. I stand out. But I do not ever feel like I should change myself to be accepted by the world. I am a fair skinned, brunette, green eyed Russian, and I love every part of myself. I have grown more secure with myself by expressing who I am. I have a lot of heart and passion, and just by expressing myself through music, I feel like my personality makes me beautiful. Beauty is not about what you look like, it is about what is in your heart.

I have allowed myself to become more confident by just being myself, and allowing people to see the real me. And hey, when people can see who you really are, you can attract the attention of someone special. Let your guard down, and do not forget to be yourself, because that it what makes you beautiful. By loving who you are, and by doing what makes you happy, this world can find a new definition for beauty. Be confident, and we will revolutionize beauty.
