Wrapped Wire Rings
By Cindy, age 14, New York
Remember that beading kit you got for your birthday when you were, like, 5, and never opened? Put it to good use making these glamorous, classic wrapped wire rings. These won't look "crafty" or "homemade", and they will fit as if they were designed for you (which they are!).

Wrapped Wire Ring - Basic
You Will Need:
- About 1 foot of flexible wire
- A large bead for the center

1. Loop the wire around your finger so that the two "tails" of excess wire are about even in length. Thread the bead onto one tail.
2. Thread the other tail through the bead as well, and pull taut.

3. Take the ring off and wrap one of the tails around the ring part of the ring, twisting it together. Thread the excess of that wire back through the bead.

4. Wrap the other tail around the bead two or three times, to get the wrapped effect. Snip off the excess and tuck the little bit that's left inside the bead.

5. Wrap the other tail around once if you can, snip off the excess, and tuck that little bit in too.

6. Voila! You're done!
