Sweet Designs Magazine has always been a fun outlet for me. Recently, I have continually been writing for colleges, scholarship applications, and school, so letting my creative side out has been fun!
This year has been going by so fast. With volleyball, basketball, band, UIL, clubs, and academics I have had barely time for myself! But being a senior has been awesome. Volleyball was ... alright. Some of my teammates weren't the nicest people, but I had a few good friends on the team. My coach didn't like me last year, but this year she changed her mind. I don't know why. Haha. So, that made being on the team easier.
Band, my favorite pastime ever! I have meet so many new people and I love every minute of it! I got to perform a solo during marching season on the marimba, and enjoyed playing the quads during the third quarter of the football games!
And basketball is going fantastic. I never really knew my teammates until this year. They are great. Our record wasn't too good at the beginning of the year, but during district we actually began winning games. Now we are in the running for the playoffs. I am super excited. However, if we don't go to playoffs, I won't care. I've had so much fun along the way.
Life has been great! So far, only few problems have come up, but luckily they were easily fixed. I even found myself a boyfriend. :) I hope that life is treating you well! Enjoy this AMAZING and helpful magazine! :)
