Your Voice

How many times have you gotten this stomach churning feeling that everyone in the room is staring down at you and commenting and judging you? The fact is, everyone gets those feelings. Have you ever avoided a major party or a day out with friends just because you thought they wouldn't acknowledge you?Well, let me tell you something. To hell with their opinions. Why do you want to spoil your day by letting them get into your head? A good friend will never judge you. This is the word out. This is your life so go make it what you want it to be like. Your life is the clay and you are the potter.
I know, when you are going through low self-esteem, it seems like the whole world disapproves of you, and the worst part is you want to impress them; you want to be a part of them and make them like you. Well, let me remind you that people are different, different in their own way, each one voicing their own opinion. Two people will never be the same no matter how close they are or no matter if they grew up together. That's why we don't have the same fingerprints! If all of our fingers would be of the same length then we wouldn't be able to write or draw, and we'd probably still be cavemen! My dad used to tell me, "Don't feel scared to do something. If you fail anytime, well, who doesn't? You just got to make your life what you want it to be like."
