Brandy Melville

By Kenzi, age 18, California

I've been trying to update my fashion sense a little more this month and find some inspirational styles that most people wouldn't even think to wear. So I pulled out my Nylon magazines and flipped through the pages searching for something a little different and new. What I found was Brandy Melville.

Brandy Melville is a brand started in Rome by Silvio Marsan. It's not exactly a brand new company, with stores all over Europe, but it's a definitely a newborn in the U.S. Brandy Melville became available to the United States in 2008, just three years ago! The brand is one of a kind with only a few shops on the east and west coasts, but it's spreading fast and making a rampage in the online scene "with vendors such as Fred Segal,, Revolve Clothing, Piperlime, Bluefly, and more!" says Brandy Melville USA.

Her styles range to insure there is something for every kind of girl from loose flowy tops to tight fitted dresses and more. Brandy Melville also carries a range of styles to accommodate every look, sporting ripped up tops, native prints, and lace for the more dainty girls. I have the feeling that Brandy Melville will not be leaving the U.S. anytime soon.
