Season of the Sun
By Catherine, age 25, England, United Kingdom
Summer in the city had never looked so pretty, and,The rays lit the streets that were once dull,
For the gloom has been lifted, through the coldness we have sifted,
A relief, all are happy, it feels free.
Ice creams on the promenade, novel cut-outs made of card,
Sandy beaches, castles made with glee,
A mood-lifting weather change does to misery effect quite strange,
The warmth and ambient breeze, it is delightful.
