"Eat Stop Eat" is the healthy eating plan without the starvation.

Eat Stop Eat is an eBook written by Brad Pilon. Don't be fooled by the abrasiveness of the title; you won't actually be eating one day, and then stopping the next because that would be unhealthy! And I'm not about to give you guys unhealthy dieting tips!

What is "Eat Stop Eat"?

Eat Stop Eat is an eBook written on a different method of dieting: Fasting! Yes, that is right. What is known as a religious practice has now turned into a diet ... well, not really a diet, since you will not really be dieting in the method Brad Pilon shares in his eBook.

How does "Eat Stop Eat" work?

Pick two days out of the week you want to fast, and fast for 24 hours on those days. Notice that I wrote '24 hours,' so be creative: you can eat anything you desire up until 6 pm one day, go to sleep normally, and don't eat until 6 pm the next day. That is a 24 hour fast. Repeat this for a non-consecutive day. You may fast on Monday, then on Wednesday, or on Thursday or even on Friday. Just don't fast on Monday, and then fast on Tuesday. It won't be fun because you would be so tired. Trust me ... I know! You don't even have to start your fast on Monday. I personally prefer fasting on Friday and then on Sunday because I'm less stressed during those days since I'm not in school.

What Do I Eat on "Eat Stop Eat"?

Anything. When I say "anything," y'all, I mean anything ... well, except for sand ... which I'm sure could be tasty (hehe). On a more serious note, Eat Stop Eat doesn't require any change of diet, but of course it is wise to watch what goes in your mouth so weight loss can be even greater. Yo! The more vegetables you consume on this plan, the tinier your waist will be.

What Do You Mean by Fasting?

Not eating. Don't eat during your 24 hour fasting periods. The only thing that is allowed to go into your month is water. No soda, no calorie drinks.

Is This Plan Really Healthy?

Absolutely. Research has indicated that a 72 hour fast (three days) does not affect the metabolism at all. With Eat Stop Eat, you'll be fasting for 48 hours (two days). Also, a fast like this allows the body to cleanse itself of toxins, giving rise to a healthier body and shinny beautiful skin. Despite contrary beliefs, research has shown that fasting in such a way can be anti-aging since it removes toxins and allows the digestive system to take a rest from breaking down food all day long.

GO AHEAD! Do your research on Eat Stop Eat and check out how healthy the plan is. Now don't get it twisted - fasting every single day is unhealthy, and that is not what we are doing here!

Even without exercise, you can expect to lose 2-3 pounds of fat a week ... not a day... a week, which is healthy. With exercise, expect to lose a lot of fat fast.
