TRESemmé Dry Shampoo: Product Review

By Gizem, age 13, England, United Kingdom

We all have days when our hair is greasy and just meh, and we're in a rush so we just don't have time for a quick shower. But luckily for us dry shampoo has been invented, and it actually works! Maybe not as good as having a shower or bath, but it lasts the day. I use TRESemmé Dry Shampoo.

How It Works

It soaks up the oil in your hair making it look fresher, while giving it some volume at the same time.

How to Use It

1. Shake can well.

2. Spray it on your hair, holding the can 8-12 inches away from your head.

3. Leave product in your hair for 1-2 minutes so it can soak up the excess oil.

4. Comb through.

With any product there are good and bad things about it.

The Good

1. All you have to do is just spray it on your hair and comb it, and you're done. I normally just spray it on the roots of my hair because that's where all the grease is.

2. Your hair doesn't look so greasy and dirty. The product sucks up all the excess oil and leaves your hair looking cleaner.

3. It lasts the whole day.

The Bad

I sometimes get white patches when I spray it on my hair so you have to rub it in well. Otherwise it will look like your hair is going gray. I once hadn't rubbed it in well and I went to school with a white patch in my hair. Thankfully, though, my friends spotted it. But I spent the whole morning trying to rub it in.

Overall, TRESemmé Dry Shampoo is a good product, and I got mine for only £3.99 (roughly 7 dollars in America). It works well and does what it says, so I would recommend it to everyone, especially if you have greasy hair.
