I want to lose weight in 3-4 weeks before school starts! Can you relate?

When I was 14 years old I was about 124 pounds, fit and healthy, though I used to think that I was fat. Since then, I've gone through so many unbelievable fad diets it's not even funny. Once I went on a one day carrot diet. I ate carrots all day. The next day I woke up and couldn't even walk, my stomach was hurting so much. I think I stayed in bed for about five hours. It was horrific.

As the years went on, I compensated for how badly I was hurting inside over issues going on in my life at the time by stuffing myself with food even when I was beyond full. So, right now, I'm 17 years old and I weight about 165 pounds, and I'm 5 feet 4 inches tall. My goal is to lose 20 pounds in 30 days now that my mind is healthy again.

I was researching some fat loss workouts and ran into this workout site called Fatx101. This site is truly amazing. It gives, free of charge, a 12 day fat loss program where you basically work out every day for 12 days.

After doing the program for 12 days, I'm going to repeat the workout. I performed one workout in the 12 day Fatx program before, but I never kept it up because I was literally scared to change! But I've been working on myself and now I'm ready to do something about my weight. For the first time in my life, I'm going to follow up on my goal to get in shape, and I'm going to do it in four weeks or less before my school starts.

Fatx101 also gives tips on dieting. However, I'm not going to follow their diet. I get stressed out looking at Fatx dieting tips. So I'm just going to implement the fast in the book Eat Stop Eat, which I discussed in the August issue. Note that you don't need to buy Eat Stop Eat to learn about the fasting method. Just research the book, and read about it.

After a month, when I lose the weight (hopefully 20 pounds), I'm going to post a before and after picture in an article I'll write that will explain all the challenges I faced losing the weight.

I hope I've inspired and motivated all of you who want to lose some weight like me.
