Only good thingsPeople say
Of a place
Southern-set
Take the train
Not there yet.
We sit on benches
Rocking forth
Like older children
Heading to work
And we are (really)
But it's for no pay.
Saving for those
Rainy days
You don't get in California
Golden-state
And broke.
"University
Where please?"
Asks a person to my left
I write directions
Though lord knows
We learn on every track.
The city's quiet
Torn between
Some metropolitan
Western theme
We should be there
Shouldn't we?
On this rickety train
Blasphemy.
