Lovesick Monarch
By Maria, age 13, Oregon
Had time stood still at the twelve dongs,A moonbeam would alight on her majesty's gossamer locks,
Leaving little to her lover's imagination,
And a divine love would encase them in its silky tendrils,
A lasting breath caught on the red-tinged lips,
Of a lovesick monarch and her impure secret.
