For my birthday (in 2 weeks), I'll be getting my first DSLR. I just wanted to suggest that you do a lot of research before choosing one because I found a Sony that has more features and a better kit lens and costs less than the Nikon D60, just a suggestion. Have fun with your new camera (when you get it)!
