A Winter Wonderland

The winter season is a beautiful time of the year
As snowflakes fall gently around you,
Towards the ground.

The cold weather
The hot chocolate
Jack Frost nipping at your nose.

Snow angels are forming
and
Snowmen are being built
Snowball fights are in order
and
People are dodging them to not get hit.

Little kids running around the backyard
Trying to catch snowflakes on their tongue
With eyes twinkling,
At the first sight of snow of the season.

Ice skating
and
Igloo building,
Snowboarding
and
Ski slopes
Are just some ways to have fun.
Snow covered hills
Make it great for some sledding.

Holiday greetings
and
Family get-togethers
Sitting by the fire
and
Sipping on some hot apple cider
Make it great for sharing old memories
and
Making new ones for the future.

And this is ...
