Why I Write for SDM: Writing gives me an opportunity to express myself, and Sweet Designs Magazine has helped me in doing so. It's a creative outlet I can go to, when I need to escape everyday things and drama.

Activities, Sports, Interests: I love reading, playing soccer, karate, baseball (Red Sox), hockey (Bruins), and last but not least, writing.

Favorite Authors: Nicholas Sparks, Edgar Allen Poe, and James Patterson, to name a few.

Favorite School Subjects: Through high school it was always English. Through college it wasn't just any of the English courses that I took; it was also the film class I took my senior year of college.

Favorite Movies: The Twilight Series, World Trade Center, We Are Marshall, The Notebook, The Last Song, Dear John, and A Walk to Remember, to name a few.

Favorite TV Shows: Vampire Diaries, Revenge, Glee, The Lying Game, Switched at Birth, Pan Am, Ghost Adventures, and Big Time Rush.

I listen to: Country, pop, hip-hop, rap (only Eminem), some rock. I love the Backstreet Boys, Clay Aiken, David Cook, Darren Criss, Hinder, My Darkest Days, Bruno Mars, Tim McGraw, Bob Seger, Foreigner, Big Time Rush, Bon Jovi, and some others.

Most Important Values: Love, friendship, family, loyalty, trust, and honesty.

I enjoy: Spending time with friends and family, writing, laughing, reading, sun and warm weather, movies, and being outside as much as possible.

Future Plans: To pursue a master's degree in either history or something else that interests me, to get married and have children, and to live my life to the fullest.

4-11 How College Changed Me

What I'm All About: I live in the southeastern part of Massachusetts, and for now I can't see myself anywhere else. I am a college graduate with a degree in English. I'm crazy, silly, shy, cute, brave, girly, sweet, loud, cheerful, opinionated, energetic, annoying, fun, and outgoing. Sometimes I'm not everything I wish I could be, but I'm everything I need to be.

Favorite Quotes: "Faith is taking the first step ... even when you don't see the whole staircase." - Martin Luther King, Jr.

"Life is like riding a bicycle ... to keep your balance, you must keep moving." - Albert Einstein

"Believe in love ... believe in magic ... hell, believe in Santa Claus ... believe in others ... believe in yourself ... believe in your dreams ... because if you don't, who will?" - Bon Jovi

"Being fearless is getting back up and fighting for what you want over and over again ... and that even if you're scared ... DO IT SCARED!" - Taylor Swift

"I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you learn to appreciate them when they're right. You believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself ... and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together." - Marilyn Monroe
